Throughout history, the family surname has changed as a consequence of successive marriages. Since 1951, Francisco Torell\u00f3, anticipating the economic change in Spain, directed the family&#8217;s agricultural tradition towards the industrialization of wine production, starting to produce TORELL\u00d3 bottled wines with grapes from the estate.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Torell\u00f3 is run by the 22nd and 23rd generation with the commitment to preserving the estate. Can Mart\u00ed is the name of Torell\u00f3 estate located 33 km south of Barcelona, which has been organic since 2016.<\/p>\n<p>It is also important to highlight the biodiversity in the estate, which is abundant due to the extension of property and surrounding areas. A wide variety of habitats are found within the vineyards and margins, including white pine and holm oak woods or areas of broom brush and other bushes.<\/p>\n<p>Torell\u00f3&#8217;s main values and commitments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100% own vineyards<\/li>\n<li>100% organic farming<\/li>\n<li>100% manual harvest<\/li>\n<li>100% vinified on the premises of the winery<\/li>\n<li>Specialized in long-aged sparkling wines<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to quality, territory, and origin<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to sustainability and the environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Torell\u00f3 produces sparkling wine, white, ros\u00e9, and red still wines made following the highest quality standards.<\/p>\n<p>Torell\u00f3 is a founding member of CORPINNAT, a collective European Union brand established to distinguish great sparkling wines made in the heart of the Pened\u00e8s from 100% organic grapes harvested by hand and entirely vinified on the premises of the winery. CORPINNAT has its own regulation, which has become the strictest one in the world for sparkling wine made by second fermentation in the bottle.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, Torell\u00f3 has managed to be present in 30 countries and to position our wines in the top restaurants and wine stores.
