Who we are?
PRODECA is a public company attached to the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Food of the Government of Catalonia. Its purpose is to promote Catalan agri-food products and support the marketing and internationalization of Catalan companies in the sector.
What we do?
We run programmes on starting to export, market diversification, increasing sales and consolidating our presence abroad.
We work on the internationalisation of Catalan agri-food products by organising specific meetings with importers, technical meetings and seminars.
We create international positioning plans to raise awareness of gastronomy under the Catalonia brand, with the aim of promoting Catalan food products.
We offer companies and entities with specific needs bespoke services for international growth.
We help to identify export opportunities and define potential world markets using our Agri-food Valuation Tool (EVA), a free online search engine that Prodeca has developed.
Prodeca’s team is qualified and experienced in agri-food marketing, and includes experts in all of the agri-food sub-sectors.
