Prodeca, the agency for the promotion of Catalan food products, has announced the Catalan Food Business Forum 2025, which will take place on June 4 and 5 in Barcelona. This international event aims to connect Catalan agri-food companies with international buyers, facilitating entry into new markets and strengthening commercial relationships.
The forum will bring together threeprofessional sectoral meetings, each with a specialized focus:
-
- Meat Business Forum: focused on the meat sector.
-
- Fine Food Business Forum: dedicated to gourmet and high-quality products.
-
- Wine Business Forum: targeting the wine sector.
These sectoral forums will provide a platform for Catalan companies to present their products to importers, distributors, and other international professionals, fostering the internationalization of the Catalan agri-food sector.
The first edition of the Catalan Food Business Forum, held in 2023, brought together 80 Catalan companies with 120 importers from 34 countries, consolidating itself as a regular business platform for the international expansion of the Catalan agri-food industry.
This new edition aims to exceed these numbers and expand opportunities for Catalan companies. In addition to B2B meetings, the forum will feature conferences and keynote speeches by industry experts, analyzing market trends and providing strategic tools for export and innovation. Through this initiative, Prodeca reaffirms its commitment to the internationalization of Catalan food products, offering a key platform for brand growth and consolidation in the global market.
